Selective collect
Caieiras - SP
In 2018, UVS Essencis Caieiras started its Environmental Education program that supports the Caieiras City Hall in the project to implement the Selective Collection in the city of Caieiras.
The project seeks to encourage teachers, students, parents and the community to participate, with children being the main agents for disseminating awareness for the change in attitudes necessary for the proposed implementation of waste separation for selective collection in the city.
The program is carried out in phases and has already been implemented in 26 schools in the municipal education network and seven public points (PEVS), collecting 12 tons of recyclable waste.
In addition to providing collectors and supplies for the project implementation stage, UVS Essencis Caieiras held technical training and awareness lectures for the entire public involved in the project (Parents, Teachers, Students and employees of the institutions), totaling more than 800 people trained.

The program, which completed 10 years in 2019 and this year benefited 1,392 people, began with a partnership between Essencis Curitiba and health professionals from the municipal health post Sabará. The beneficiaries are people with mental and physical disabilities, with different levels of limitations, their families who receive support and guidance, and the community that learns how to assertively include people with special needs.
The objective is to encourage the development of motor coordination, reasoning, integration with society and support for family members.
The activities carried out are: psychological support for special people and caregivers, courses in entrepreneurship, mathematics, information technology, among others that encourage inclusion in the labor market. In addition to psychomotor practices such as craft workshops, music, dance, relaxation, application of reiki and acsses bars.
The program involves Essencis employees, the surrounding community, family members and volunteer companies that are interested in helping. Among the results achieved are some special ones that have already been selected to start working or have opened their own business, which is why the program was recognized in Social Responsibility events with several awards.
Warm Delivery
São José dos Campos - SP
In July, the UVS Essencis São José dos Campos team delivered the warm clothes collected through an internal campaign at the unit.
The warm clothing campaign is held annually and has the support of employees to collect and deliver donations. This year the chosen institution was the “Cristo Rei Church”, located in the Padre Marcelo neighborhood.
In 2019, around 120 items were collected, including blouses, shirts and shorts, in addition to children's clothing that will be of great value to the residents of the neighborhood.
